It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of yet another woodworking friend. Daniel Carter, from https://itswood.com/. Daniel was a pioneer in world of woodwork podcasting and I had pleasure of being his guest recently. Working with him on that session showed me how skillful a podcaster he was. His ability to keep guests on topic and to keep the flow of the podcast during the recording was clearly evident to me. When our podcasting recording ...

... was completed we spent time just chatting and exchanging histories and we both found we had so much in common. We were both involved from our earlier days in internet technology in bringing woodworking to the web with websites and videos and pictures and lamented how much that has changed in the past 25 years. Daniel reminisced about some of his earlier days in woodworking and things he had done and how now wood turning had captured his interest and described to me some the things he and done and what new things he was planning.  We both were looking forward to the time when we could meet in person, exchange ideas and talk more about our parallel histories. He was a great guy and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. My heartfelt condolences go out to his wife Kerri and family during these times difficult times.
