Any caricature carvers out there?

I have tryed a few but really can't say I am any good. I just posted one in the gallery. I carve between woodworking prjects and in the winter when my workshop (garage) gets to cold. I enjoy doing the carving but I am afraid I just don't have the creativity to creat my own.

Well I just looked at the gallery, guess when you can carve birds like that you don't have to mess with caricatures LOL altho the logger looks fine to me! Nice work! How do you post pics in the gallery?

All you have to do is send a request (email) to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for permission to post in what ever catagories you want to. They really respond fast too. Then, after they authorize you, the next time you go to the gallery you will see a button that asks if you want to post something. It sounds harder then it really is. Don't forget to send your nickname when you ask for permission to post. Directions are on the "Home" page if you need them.

I also oil paint, have done so for about 35+ years...and have a razortip burner but usually use to enhance carvings more than burnings...geez this site attracts great talent doesn't it LOL :roll: :wink:
