Bit is held with a set screw in a 7-1/2" shank.
Shank has tensile strength of over 110,000 PSI.
Hardwood handle measures 15-1/2" long .
Total length is 23" without the cutting tip.
To sharpen, simply mount the included point in your router. Mount the termite in the fixture and rotate the inside of the termite around the spinning point.
