- Additional imitation gold leaf, copper leaf and aluminum leaf sold separately; 25 (5-1/2" x 5-1/2") leaves per package.
- Additional water-base leaf adhesive sold separately.
- Pigmented gilding primer (sold separately) seals the surface, hides flaws and provides an excellent base for leaf adhesive. For use on wood, plaster, metal and composition surfaces. Use Yellow primer with genuine and imitation gold leaf; Red for copper leaf; and Gray for silver or aluminum leaf.

A surface primer, such as shellac, is recommended. Imitation Gold Leaf and Copper Leaf must be sealed after gilding to prevent tarnishing. Lacquer, shellac or other high quality sealers recommended. Imitation Gold Leaf, Aluminum Leaf and Copper Leaf are recommended for interior gilding projects only. |
