boatBuilder created the topic: Hitachi C10FL vs RIDGID Model TS3650

I am reading a lot of positive posts about both the Hitachi C10FL and the RIDGID Model TS3650. Does anyone know of a direct comparison in features, ease of use, precision, rip fence usability and quality as well as the ability to accept third party accessories and overall quality.

I am looking to purchase soon and would welcome some brutally hones information about these saws from people who own them.

Thanks

I CAN'T GIVE YOU A DIRECT COMPARISON, I OWN A C10FL AND IT'S A NICE SAW,ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE(499.00). BUT , I HAVE LOOKED THE RIGID SAW OVER AND IT DOES SEEM TO HAVE A BETTER FENCE. IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO SAVE A LITTLE CASH THOUGH, THE HITACHI WILL GIT 'ER DONE. RON,FROM RONZWORLD. 8)

At this point it is less about the money and more about performance and quality of tool. Yes, the fence on the c10FL seemed a bit on the low precision side.

Anyone else care to weigh in?
