I got a flex shaft power carver from a woman whose husband had died and she was getting rid of all his tools. I don't know anything about power carving, but get the impression that his setup isn't right. There were no books or anything with it and there is no name on the shaft or hand piece. The only identifying mark is a kind of winged helmet logo on the flex shaft.
He had it hooked up to a 3500 rpm motor, which I think is far too slow. Most powercarvers I can find info on run aroud 12,000 to 18,000 rpm.
Anyone have any ideas on who made this and where I can find the proper motor and books?
